FLAGCHIP’s 3rd General Assembly meeting took place in person at the University of Nottingham

On the 25th of November 2025, the FLAGCHIP project partners convened at the University of Nottingham (UoN) for a productive and insightful General Assembly meeting. Representatives from all consortium members were present, making this an excellent opportunity to review the project’s progress, exchange perspectives, and strengthen collaboration across work packages.

The meeting began with an overview of the technical advancements achieved to date. Each work package leader provided updates on ongoing activities, key milestones reached, and the challenges addressed throughout the project so far. These discussions helped ensure alignment across the consortium and set a solid foundation for the next stages of FLAGCHIP’s development.

A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to planning the upcoming activities for the next reporting period. Partners worked together to refine timelines, coordinate interdependencies, and establish priorities that will support the successful implementation of FLAGCHIP’s objectives. The collaborative atmosphere allowed for productive exchanges and reinforced the shared commitment to advancing the project’s innovative solutions.

In addition to the strategic discussions, UoN offered partners the opportunity to visit the Power Electronics and Machine Centre laboratories. This visit provided valuable insights into the cutting-edge research and testing facilities that support FLAGCHIP’s technology development. Seeing the experimental setups and interacting with UoN’s research teams further highlighted the crucial role the university plays within the consortium.

The FLAGCHIP partners extend their warm appreciation to the University of Nottingham for hosting the meeting and for their hospitality throughout the visit. The General Assembly served as an important milestone for the project, strengthening collaboration and paving the way for the next phase of work.
