SuperGrid Institute Showcases FLAGCHIP Insights at ESREF 2025

Our project partner SuperGrid Institute participated in the European Symposium on Reliability of Electron Devices, Failure Physics and Analysis (ESREF 2025), held in Bordeaux (France), on 6-9 October 2025.

The conference provided an excellent platform for experts and researchers to exchange knowledge on the latest advancements in electronic device reliability. SuperGrid contributed to discussions focusing on reliability issues in silicon carbide (SiC) power devices—a key area of interest within the FLAGCHIP project.

Through their active engagement at ESREF 2025, SuperGrid gained valuable insights into the degradation mechanisms that power modules must withstand under real operating conditions. These discussions offered a valuable benchmark for comparing and refining FLAGCHIP’s innovative approach to Condition and Health Monitoring (CHM), which aims to enhance the lifetime, safety, and efficiency of next-generation power electronics.

Participation in events such as ESREF underscores FLAGCHIP’s commitment to fostering collaboration and advancing knowledge in the field of reliable and sustainable semiconductor technologies across Europe.
